Innovation Leadership: Public Talk in Kuala Lumpur

Innovation Leadership
June 3rd, 4pm to 6pm
ELM Business School, HELP University, Kuala Lumpur
The need for change is what distinguishes leadership from management.
The need for sustainability distinguishes good leaders from bad.
How can good leaders create rapid and significant change for sustainability?

Professor Jem Bendell, of the University of Cumbria and the impact investors Trimantium Capital, will share insights from fields of innovation and enterprise, to show how major changes have occurred in the past and can occur today. Drawing on examples from fashion, finance, the sharing economy and education, Bendell will explain his theory of elegant disruption, which extends management theories on disruptive innovation to include aspirations and values.

Professor Jem Bendell is in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) to attend the World Economic Forum on ASEAN, as a Young Global Leader, and will reflect on discussions from that summit.

For information on ELM see here, and to request to attend the talk email David Thye: david.thye@helpliveedu.onmicrosoft.com

Professor Bendell is the founder of the Postgrad Certificate in Sustainable Leadership.
